On December 8, 2017, We had MetroParks come and do a presentation about "Life when it's snowy!" They discussed how animals hibernate, migrate, and live in the winter. Students built their own igloo with marshmallows and then came and explored our life size igloo. Students also created a snowflake out of paper towel rolls and made a snowstorm in a jar. It was a busy STEM filled day that the students greatly enjoyed!
